Origin

Mailberg & 1,000-liter barrel
The grapes for “NOAH” come from the vineyards of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Mailberg. The cuvée, made from Blauer Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes, was aged for 18 months in a 1,000-liter barrel. This barrel is located in the Lenz Moser estate cellar and holds an incredible 56,589 liters. The label shows the bottom of the barrel with the motif “Noah receives the vine from God the Lord.” Noah is the first vineyard planter mentioned in the Bible story.
