Ing. Michael Rethaller
Winery Manager and Head Oenologist
A fanatic for quality Michael Rethaller has been working for Lenz Moser in roles involving vinification and quality management since 1992. In January 2019 he became Winery Manager at Lenz Moser.
Michael enjoys tasting the variety available from Austria’s various wine-growing regions. However, when it comes to wines of the Lenz Moser brand, he has a clear favourite: the Lenz Moser Selection Die wichtigste Weißweinsorte Österreichs. Das Spektrum rei... wins him over with its particularly spicy and fruity properties. Due to its moderate alcohol content, he also considers this wine to be suitable for every day and any occasion. And this opinion is reflected in its high degree of international popularity: quite simply, the Selection Grüner Veltliner caters to a wide range of tastes all round the globe.
Ing. Gerhard Allacher
At Lenz Moser, Gerhard is in charge of supporting roughly 3,000 wine-making families and the cultivation of the two premium wine estates in Mailberg and Siegendorf.
Ing. Thomas Hofbauer
Thomas is the ultimate quality fanatic here at Lenz Moser. His areas of responsibility include the analysis of the wines and ongoing quality assurance.
Cellar economy Manager
Franz is responsible for the entire vinification process. He keeps track of the processing of the grapes through to the finished Lenz Moser wine.
Ing. Franz Walzer
Franz is responsible for the entire filling process and the technical procedures at Lenz Moser. Under his auspices, the wines are bottled to the very highest quality.
