Winery Manager and Head Oenologist

A fanatic for quality Michael Rethaller has been working for Lenz Moser in roles involving vinification and quality management since 1992. In January 2019 he became Winery Manager at Lenz Moser.

Michael enjoys tasting the variety available from Austria’s various wine-growing regions. However, when it comes to wines of the Lenz Moser brand, he has a clear favourite: the Lenz Moser Selection Grüner VeltlinerGrüner Veltliner ist eine Weißweinsorte, die hauptsächlic... More wins him over with its particularly spicy and fruity properties. Due to its moderate alcohol content, he also considers this wine to be suitable for every day and any occasion.
