This Rhine Riesling was rated as very good by cellar manager Michael Rethaller after intensive tasting. A limited quantity of 20 bottles is currently available.
A fresh, full-bodied Rhine Riesling with flavors of ripe apple and pear. 1978 was a rather small wine vintage with a very late main harvest. It’s amazing how beautifully a Rhine Riesling over 40 years old presents itself!
