Trockenbeerenauslese Welschriesling 1976

This Trockenbeerenauslese was rated Very Good – Good by cellar manager Michael Rethaller after intensive tasting. A limited quantity of 50 bottles is currently available.

Favorable conditions in 1976 resulted in good flowering, but a drought inhibited the development of the berries. The unstable weather affected the ripening of the grapes, but favored botrytis infection, enabling the production of large quantities of Prädikat wines, such as this Trockenbeerenauslese.
