Trockenbeerenauslese Gewürztraminer 1981

This Trockenbeerenauslese was rated as very good by cellar manager Michael Rethaller after intensive tasting. A limited quantity of 20 bottles is currently available.

Rich, vibrant, shiny gold. Delicate, fragrant honey botrytis notes with subtle fruit aromas. 1981 was a year with severe winter frost damage. A cold snap at Easter caused the young shoots to freeze. The harvest was very small, but the primary ripeness was good – as was the case for this Trockenbeerenauslese.
