New wines from the winery cloister cellar Siegendorf

The premium vineyard cloister cellar Siegendorf gets reinforcement: Three wines will complement the highly remunerated red wine cuvée’s "Siegendorf Rot" and "O'Dora". With a Pinot Blanc, a Merlot and a Cabernet Sauvignon Lenz Moser’s winery in Burgenland can now unlock its full potential with a wider range of wines.

Since 1988 Lenz Moser manages the winery, which now ranks among the most prestigious in Austria and is regarded as one of the best addresses of Austrian red wine cultivation.

The vineyard of the cloister cellar Siegendorf consists of two contiguous vineyards named "Dora Dülö" and "Urasagi Puszta". With its 25,2 hectares (approximately 2,000 m long and 70 to 150 meters wide) it is unique by Austrian standards. 83% of the vineyard area is planted with the Francophile Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Around 17% of the vineyard is planted with Pinot Blanc, which, same as the red wines, also has the delightful blend of terroir and an international touch.

The three new wines, as well as the already established Lenz Moser range, are represented at the Anuga fair in Cologne from 10-14-Oct-2015 and the “Alles für den Gast” fair in Salzburg from 07-11-Nov-2015.
