Berliner Wein Trophy 2015
For a wine with a Berlin Wine Trophy medal, you can be sure that it is a top-quality product, which has been awarded by independent gourmets.
Out of 18 wines submitted from our portfolio to the summer edition, seven wines could receive the popular “Berlin Gold Medal 2015”.
Our seven awarded wines at the summer edition:
Lenz Moser Selection Grüner Veltliner 2014
Lenz Moser Selection Blaufränkisch 2013
Malteser Ritterorden Riede Hundschupfen Grüner Veltliner 2014
Lenz Moser Carpe Diem Prestige Cuvée Siegendorf 2013
Lenz Moser Grande Selection Grüner Veltliner Retzer Weinberge 2013
Zweigelt Rosé 2014
Exclusiv Blauer Zweigelt Reserve 2013
Due to the restrictive OIV guidelines, only 30% of the products submitted could be awarded with a medal. The high quality of the wines submitted - the average price of the samples is now €13.80 - meant that only the best of the wines that received enough points were awarded with a medal. According to the official criteria, the wines with the following scores received a medal:
With five annual international wine competitions, German Wine Marketing is indispensable as a guarantee of quality in the international wine industry – it provides wine connoisseurs with important guidelines from the wine shop to the wine bar.
Over 12.000 wines from 40 countries are tasted by 400 highly qualified international wine tasters and awarded prizes.
All competitions are under the auspices of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) and the International Union of Oenologists (UIOE) and are thus the most strictly controlled competitions worldwide. This ensures that all Trophies are awarded according to the same fair rules and high standards of quality.
