STORCH - Austria´s Sunny Side

The "Storch" label is one of the best-well known brands in Austria. Since September 1996 this brand has found a new home at the Lenz Moser winery. The wines have been qualitatively improved and remodelled to achieve a new image for a new quality of wines. Wines with the "beak-shaped" label are youthful fresh wines for the daily consumption.

This selection includes exclusively "Qualitätsweine" from the Burgenland. Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Blaufänkisch and Blauer Zweigelt as well as a Spätlese. The grapes used for our Storch wines are growing in the wine growing areas of Middle Burgenland, Neusiedlersee and Neusiedlersee-Hügelland, which are benefiting from an sxpecially sunny climate. This part of the Burgenland seems to receive extra favours from the sun, and Lake Neusiedl acts as a natural reservoir for warmth. this is a countryside of great individuality, in which the stork nests found here symbolize the good preservation of natural resources. The wines from this soil, where the world is still unspoiled, are equally individual and the grape producers feel a great affinity with their land. Healthy grapes are cultivated here with the ecology in mind.

Availbable in grocery stores with good wine department.
