For another time the international wine tasting "Berlin Wine Trophy 2009" took place this year. During 4 days an international jury has been tasting 3152 wines and sparkling wines from all over the world. According to the regulations of "OIV" only a maximum of 30% of the wines are allowed to be awarded with the coveted medals. It was hard for the jury to select these 30% from the submitted wines, which were all close to the medal because of their high quality.

Finally 905 medals were awarded.
